The Rewinder40 mask has a resistance of up to forty washes at 60 degrees of temperature. Once dry, it must be ironed to reactivate the water-repellent treatment that repels 100% of all types of liquids, both internally and externally. It will be then when it is ready for a new use.
We must take into account the different conditions under which the mask is used. For hygiene reasons, each use must have a maximum duration of 8 hours and, if it needs to be prolonged, it must be replaced by another. But it also depends on the effort and sweating to which we are subjected. In these more extreme cases, in which it gets wet or deteriorates, a maximum use of 4 hours is recommended.
These are the procedures that must be followed after each use:
Removing the mask:
Take off our gloves
Wash our hands with soap and water or a hydroalcoholic solution.
Remove the mask without touching its front, to place it in an isolated place, until we proceed to wash it.
Always protect and wash your hands with soap and water or with a hydroalcoholic solution after handling.
Never mix with clean clothes.
It is recommended to wash (by hand or by machine) at a temperature of 60 degrees with neutral soap. Do not use products that can damage the materials or diminish their protective capacity.
Let the mask dry completely without using an oven, microwave or dryer.
Once dry, iron at 140ºC for a period of 10-15 seconds to activate the antibacterial treatment.
After 40 washes, we must discard it. If the instructions for use and conservation are not followed, the number of washes that the mask can withstand may be less.
The long life of a Rewinder40 mask is what makes it the most sustainable and safe alternative, saving ourselves and the planet from dumping 39 disposable masks.
At Rewinder, we recommend responsible use, since the most important thing is the safety of our customers. We invite you to ask us any questions that may arise through the different channels that we have at your disposal.
